My name is Holland Stephens and I am an interior designer in Seattle Washington. This blog is devoted to all things design related. I have found that I prefer a type of interior design that includes an interesting mix or alchemy of many genres, styles, textures and forms. It has more to do with the quality and way things speak to each other. Alchemy is the process of combining various and sometimes disparate elements together with the desired outcome of their various attributes combining to create something better than what you began with. It can mean taking the ordinary and transforming it into the extraordinary. My hope is to present interiors, architecture, products, art, fashion, etc. that can be used as inspiration, ingredients for your own interior alchemy.
